Program Leader at Malabar Elementary School (Former Employee) says

"Working with kids of all ages is always tough. I did enjoy it, but just wished there would have been training on different parts of the program. Other than that, definitely recommend it if you want to test the waters with education!"

Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) says

"Was mistreated by interim program director, was the only one brave enough to go to HR. The woman I complained about found out I told, so she did everything in her power to get rid of me. I came into the company when they were in financial crisis, was put in charge of recovering a million dollars in lost revenue. To do this I had to go into bad neighborhoods/projects to have people re-apply for the program so the company could recover the lost money. I recovered 3/4 million within 2 months, and then was laid off. Cons: low pay, abusive management, no employee loyalty"

Program Leader (Former Employee) says

"Evening job that works perfectly for college students that go to school during the day. You get to choose an after school activity to do with the student for the school year. At the end of every month you need to fill out an activity plan for every day of the month that incorporates thinking, growing , learning while being fun."

Young Adult corps (Former Employee) says

"was a good summer job while in high school. labor work but felt good seeing before and after pictures of you and your teams work. clean company locations alley basically different location everytime. Cons: hard work for most people. working outdoors"

Finance Manager says

"I have been working at DHL Express Cons: DPWN needs to recognize that they don't know how to manage an Express business. This Company has been plunged down the toilet ever since it was purchased by DPWN in 2003. The USMB, VP's and most recent hachett CEO have destroyed what was once a great place to work. They're created a complex group of operating units that fight among themselves. All Sr. Management cares about is saving their own butts. I have never seen a group of people put such a positive 'spin' on all of their bad decisions so they can sell themselves into a global position or a transfer. Some of these executives have received and are continuing to receive very generous severance and bonus packages. All while the 'employee's' are suffering by having to work excessive hours and then are lossing their jobs. It's an amazing list of bad decisions with zero accountablity. The Company's major error was not having control of their own business, between the independent contractors, unions, multiple airline agreements (why do we need 2?), etc. all at cost plus they don't have a chance of controlling their own expenses. They're spending billions on restructuring. ...right, more like setting the Company up to sell to a competitor or a complete shut down."
